This notice is an update on the Hosting Transition plan for the US Instance of the Quickbase platform ("US Quickbase").

In January, we informed realm and account admins for customers of the Quickbase platform about our plan to transition parts of "US Quickbase" between our existing hosting locations during the first half of 2023 and introduce a new hosting location in the second half of 2023.

We are currently in Phase 2 of the Hosting Transition plan with the goal of replacing Flexential-Nevada with AWS-Oregon as a valid standby hosting location for the Core Cluster Components for US Quickbase.

We have completed 3 weekend switches of the active location of the Core Cluster Components for US Quickbase from Flexential-Colorado to AWS-Oregon, and then back to Flexential-Colorado.  These switches were done on February 11, March 11-12, and March 25.  The March 25 switch was conditionally going to use AWS-Oregon as the active location until either March 26 or April 8.  However, we switched back to Flexential-Colorado on March 25 due to a performance problem with about 5% of customer applications.  We therefore canceled the conditional March 26 and April 8 maintenance windows.

We are presently evaluating the results of these switches in order to prepare for a 4th switch that is likely to be scheduled sometime in May.

We will notify customers at least 10 days in advance when we have a date for the next location switch.
