We are experiencing an issue with logging in and accessing Quickbase University (university.quickbase.com) - our online training curriculum platform.  Our hosting provider has acknowledged the issue on their end and are are working to fix this as soon as possible.  There is no impact to the Quickbase platform that hosts Quickbase applications.

We apologize for the inconvenience and will provide an update as soon as we have one.

Our hosting provider has deployed a fix for this issue and Quickbase University is working properly again.  

The issue was caused by a change implemented by our vendor that unexpectedly impacted authentication to QB University. Once the issue was identified, the vendor rolled back the change, restoring normal service. We confirmed with the vendor improvements to change validation and monitoring are in place to reduce the risk of similar issues occurring in the future.

There was no impact to the Quickbase platform that hosts our customers' applications.  The issue was specific to QB University only.

As of 9:54 AM Eastern US Time, Pave is experiencing degraded performance. We are actively investigating.

The Pave team has implemented a fix for the issue and as of 10:44 AM Eastern US Time, Pave is back online. Users may have been unable to access Pave apps between 10:12 and 10:44 AM Eastern US Time.

The preliminary root cause is a regional Internet outage in the Western Unites States, or a localized Internet outage in or around the hosting facility in which the Quickbase US platform is actively located.  We are awaiting further updates from our hosting partner.

As a reminder, to ensure the availability of the US instance of the Quickbase platform, Quickbase hosts the platform in two geographically diverse locations; Ohio (USA) and Oregon (USA).  Quickbase US can run actively in only one location at a time with the other location running in standby mode.  Since June 6, 2026, Quickbase US has been active in our Oregon location, which is in the Western United States.  This outage was too short to trigger a switch to our Ohio location.

The Extensions Portal is again available via https://extensions.quickbase.com.

Following the migration, for the web versions of Quickbase Extensions, users were receiving errors saying "Error occurred : Response status code does not indicate success: 405 (Method Not Allowed).", resulting in nothing being displayed. Documents were still generated and uploaded into file attachments.

Once a new date and time have been selected for the migration, a new post to the Quickbase Service Page will be created.

The Quickbase team will be performing emergency maintenance on the Quickbase US platform to upgrade 3 databases that support the Webhooks and Automations functionality.

We expect there may be a brief occurrence of errors or slow performance for Webhooks and Automations lasting up to 10 minutes per database as each is upgraded during the 3 hour maintenance window.

NOTE:  This maintenance is for the EU instance of the Quickbase platform and only applies to customers who use that instance.  This maintenance will not impact the US Instance of the Quickbase platform.  Quickbase US and Quickbase EU are completely separate instances of the platform.

In order to ensure the availability of the EU instance of the Quickbase platform, Quickbase hosts the platform in two geographically diverse locations; Germany and Ireland.  Quickbase EU can run actively in only one location at a time with the other location running in standby mode.  We periodically need to switch between the two locations as part of our normal disaster recovery plan validation process.  Switching between locations allows us to ensure that Quickbase’s disaster recovery plan is tested and working properly should there ever be a real disaster.  You can read more about how we ensure the availability of Quickbase EU in our Trust Center.

Since November 7, 2025, Quickbase EU has been active in our Germany location.  On Friday, July 10, 2026, between 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM Eastern US Time, we plan to switch Quickbase EU to be active in the Ireland location.  We plan to continue to run the active instance in Ireland for several months.  The Quickbase EU platform instances in both locations are always identical so there will be no change in Quickbase function or performance.

There is nothing customers need to do aside from maintaining awareness of the planned down time associated with the location switch.

Starting at 12:17 PM Eastern US Time, we have identified an issue affecting the loading of Forms and Dashboards in both the Quickbase US and Quickbase EU platforms.

The Quickbase team is actively investigating the root cause and is working to restore normal functionality as quickly as possible.  We will provide additional updates as more information becomes available.

The issue affecting Forms and Dashboards was resolved as of 1:11 PM ET.   The Quickbase US and Quickbase EU platforms are operating normally.

The preliminary root cause is that a vendor partner used by the Quickbase platform to manage feature settings had an incident that prevented some features (Forms and Dashboards) within the Quickbase platform from properly reading the settings that determine how a feature looks or acts.  Quickbase platform features are typically able to manage the inability to read feature settings in real time by using the proper default values for the settings.  In this incident, we did not have the proper default values.  We are actively working to correct that.

We will post a more detailed root cause once we complete our investigation into this issue and get further information from our vendor partner.  We expect to post a final root cause by July 17.
